PhoneHere on the island paradise of Gili Air we have a thriving and NEW Montessori based classroom with one teacher and 8 local students between the ages of 2-7.
Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and their parents come from various countries. Most of our students speak at least 3 languages. Our teacher is a new teacher who is from Indonesia, and who is still new to learning Montessori. She has a lot of natural talent but could use some mentoring opportunities with experienced teachers.
You: Experienced teacher with at least 6+ years teaching in a Montessori classroom. Bonus if you have led workshops in Montessori theory, or are a lead teacher/administrator at your school.
We are looking for someone who will come and observe our classroom teacher for 2-3 hours during the morning (approximately 9:30-11:30am). Then meet with her again after school hours for 1-1.5 hours to provide feedback and answer questions about Montessori teaching theory. In return you will get to stay in a gorgeous villa that has a private pool. With breakfast included for two nights for free. There is no pay, but accomodations and breakfast are included.
